Sinking Spring, PA (May 20, 2019) – Dewease wins Morgan Cup over World of Outlaws.

For the 5th time in 2019 out of 7 races Kreitz Racing picked up the feature win. It was Dewease’s 2nd win of the week in 3 races versus the World of Outlaws. Dewease, in the Hess Iron – Schannauer Plumbing – Maxim Chassis also won the Morgan Cup race, that was postponed until July, last year and in 2016.

The victory came after a heat race and dash win, which would line him up on the front row for the main event besides Donny Schatz.

After losing the lead on the initial start, Dewease battled back to pass Schatz on lap 13, finding the bottom groove in lap traffic. He would lead all the remaining laps to the win.

“The entire track crew did a phenomenal job tonight. The racing was great and you could pass, there’s not really anything else you could ask for”, said Kreitz.

“This was as good as we were at The Grove all year. Davey and I have really been working at it the past couple days to make sure we could put ourselves in position. He did a great job rebuilding the motors over the winter.”

Up Next for Kreitz Racing is the Weikert Memorial at Port Royal Speedway, May 25-26.

Sinking Spring, PA (May 16, 2019) – Dewease takes Outlaw win #1 of the season with Lincoln victory.

Kreitz Racing is now 4 out of 5 on the season with 4 straight victories and the only loss being a DNF the first night.

“Man, this was a lot of fun.”, said Kreitz. “We’ve been working so hard this last month trying to have a spare car so that we could come to this race. I’ve been getting up at 4am everyday to go out to the shop before work and working in the shop until 8 at night after work.”

“We win all our races in the shop before we even take the car off of stands and all that hard work paid off tonight. Hopefully we can carry that momentum into Friday.”

Lance started the night off with second quick, followed by a heat win and a 2nd place dash finish. After taking the lead with 17 to go, he survived a few late race cautions to take the victory.

The team is now up to 38 victories since combining forces in 2016.

Kreitz Racing will be back in action Friday and Saturday night at Williams Grove for another round of Posse Vs. Outlaw.

Dewease wins Grove Tune up, Outlaw races up next for 69K

Dewease wins Grove Tune up, Outlaw races up next for 69K

Sinking Spring, PA (May 13, 2019) – Lance Dewease picked up his 3rd win of the season on Friday in only 4 starts to go 3 in a row.

“We really weren’t that good,” said Kreitz. “It’s good that we got the race in tonight. The Grove really pushed through and got us back on track quicker than what I thought after the rain delay. Now we know what we have to do for next week and where we stand”.

Dewease was the quickest qualifier of the night and followed that up with a heat race win. He proceeded to draw the highest inversion pill (6) for the dash. He ended up finishing 4th in the dash and would start the feature from the 2nd row on his way to the win.

“This really was our first full feature here at The Grove and only our 4th race this year. It’s good to have momentum going into next weekend.”

The Kreitz Team will be in action Wednesday at Lincoln for their first attempt together at a Lincoln Speedway World of Outlaws show.

“It’s hard for us to run multiple nights in a row, but we really wanted to support Lincoln for putting on a big show. This is the first year with Lance that we have a second car. We’ve never had a spare one before so it made it really hard for us to race before The Grove.”

The team will also be at both Williams Grove shows this weekend.

Dewease goes 2 out of 3 with $6900 win at Lincoln.

Dewease goes 2 out of 3 with $6900 win at Lincoln.

Sinking Spring, PA (April 22, 2019) – Lance Dewease picked up his 2nd win of the season on Saturday in only 3 starts.

Kreitz Racing season debut at Williams Grove at few weeks ago ended prematurely with a DNF, but since then the team has recorded back to back wins – both of which had a post-race inspection.

Last week, during All Star Sprint Car action, the 69K made a late race pass to pick up the $6,000 check for Dewease’s 111th career Port Royal win.

Dewease started the night off at Lincoln by laying down a 2nd quick lap time in time trials, followed by a strong 3rd place heat finish. His time trial lap was good enough to put him in the redraw for the main event.

Come feature time, Dewease started in the 4th position and was in the lead by lap 8.

“Our car has been really maneuverable this year,” said Dewease.

“We’ve had Hess Iron step up this year as a primary partner and they’ve really helped our program”.

The team is off this weekend, but will return to BAPS Motor Speedway on May 5th.
